The videos on this page were made especially for the Rett Education 2020 conference. 

They allow you to see and hear directly from children and adults with Rett syndrome, and from parents of people with Rett syndrome, who are talking about their communication journey.

The children and young people have used a variety of communication methods to prepare their messages and for most of them it took a long time and a lot of effort (in many cases they worked on their message over a two month period). They also needed a good communication partner to support them in this process. However, all of the words are entirely their own.
