Julie Atkinson is a Speech & Language Therapist who, for the last 22 years, has worked at Access to Communication & Technology (ACT) which holds the NHS England contracts to provide specialised AAC and Environmental Control services to the West Midlands region.
Julie has been chairing the NHSE AAC Advisory group since 2016, a national advisor on AAC for the Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists since 2012, and on the committee of the AAC SIG since 2001.
