About this Talk

During this webinar Abigail Davison-Hoult will be sharing parents' perspectives on implementing AAC with a child with Rett syndrome. Her presentation will draw upon research she recently undertook whilst completing a Master's degree in Childhood and Early Years, as well as her own experiences of implementing AAC.

Abigail is a member of the Rett UK Communication and Education Support team. She is mother to two children, one of whom has Rett syndrome. Now aged 10, her daughter uses both low and high-tech AAC to support her communication at home, at school and when out and about.

The recording is 70 minutes.

A copy of the slides, two additional handouts, a reference list, and a certificate of attendance can be downloaded from the Media tab (to the right of the recording).
