New Rett Syndrome Communication Guidelines
A Talk by Gill Townend (Communication and Education Support Project Lead, Rett UK)
About this Talk
Have you seen the new Rett Syndrome Communication Guidelines? Do you have your own copy yet? If your answer to either of these questions is 'no', then don't despair. You can find out all about the new Guidelines during our webinar.
This webinar, just like the Guidelines, is aimed at parents, carers, therapists and educators. The Guidelines are the result of a 4-year project conducted by an international team, with 650 people from 43 countries contributing to the project.
Join our webinar to find out how the Guidelines set a baseline of good practice for developing the communication skills of people with Rett syndrome and offer a starting point for assessment, intervention and long-term management.
The webinar will be presented by Dr. Gillian Townend, coordinator of the Guidelines project.
This recording is 67 minutes.
A copy of the slides and a certificate of attendance can be downloaded from the Media tab (to the right of the recording).
